TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEKTeachers make our future brighter! Dear Teacher, On the occasion of Teacher Appreciation Week, we would like to pay a well-deserved tribute to all teachers of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board. The role of a teacher goes way beyond the classroom. Teaching is one of the most noble and meaningful professions in this world. As a teacher, not only do you educate but you pass on knowledge, wisdom and values to our children. Through your leadership you inspire them, contribute to their success and enhance their future! This year's theme "Teachers make our future brighter" highlights the vital part that teachers play in our society. You are the architects of our collective future. This quote from John F. Kennedy summarizes well the true meaning of education: "Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities...our progress as a nation can be no swifter than our progress in education. The human mind is our fundamental resource." On behalf of the Council of Commissioners and all staff members of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board, we wish to thank you for your continued dedication, hard work and professionalism. You are positive role models for our society and we commend you for your contribution in making tomorrow a brighter day. Sincerely, Steve Bletas Chairman Anne-Marie Lepage Director General QUEBEC ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROJECT - click here www.prel.qc.ca |
